| HDL2

High-density lipoprotein (HDL) is one of the five major groups of lipoproteins.Lipoproteins are complex particles composed of multiple proteins which transport all fat molecules (lipids) around the body within the water outside cells. Under the action of LCAT, free cholesterol becomes cholesteryl esters, and lipoproteins become mature spherical HDL3, which is then converted to HDL2 by the action of LPL. High-density lipoprotein 2 (HDL2) is an autosomal dominant disorder that manifests itself in a variety of movement disorders, including chorea and dystonia.

The recovery of Mouse HDL2 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Mouse HDL2 and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
